THE NEHEMIAH ATTITUDE

Nehemiah 6:3

Think you're coming down with something?
Coming down from where?
Your spiritual altitude—
Your Godlike, perfect being?
Coming down to what?
To discord, fear, disease, perhaps—
Some error you're believing?
Lift up your vision:
Don't come down! Nehemiah didn't.
Steadfastness and loyalty never leave their post.
Consecration can't be swayed
By any false suggestion. Fidelity can build a wall
That error cannot breach.
Confidence in God as All
Can keep temptation out!
Nehemiah proved it.
