Stuart and Benjie
"What a day to go to school!" thought Stuart. "Everything went wrong yesterday. And the day before. And the day before that!"
Actually, things didn't go badly at school itself. Stuart liked school. Stuart's second grade class had lots of fun learning new things.
But the bus stop was no fun at all. Benjie was at the bus stop. Even though Benjie was in a higher grade than Stuart, he always came over to him at the bus stop and started arguing or tried to fight. Stuart hadn't talked to anyone very much about this trouble, but it just didn't go away. Benjie had begun to kick, shove, and bully him every day at the bus stop. Then he had laughed.
