Is That You, God?
Are you listening for God's direction—His voice, if you will—to tell you what to do? Not hearing it, you may be tempted to conclude that God doesn't care, or even that He doesn't exist.
Could it be that God is indeed very active in our lives but we just don't know how to recognize His presence? The book of Jeremiah in the Bible could be describing this common experience when it speaks of people "which have eyes, and see not; which have ears, and hear not." Jer. 5:21;
Most people from time to time have a feeling they should take some specific action. It may be as trivial as buying something at the store. Perhaps they don't follow it up because from the human point of view it doesn't seem to make sense, but later they realize they should have paid attention to the thought.
