"What's the use of worrying? It never was worthwhile." So goes a line in a World War I song. Shortly after leaving a Christian Science Sunday School I found myself staying in a home where the family were not Christian Scientists. They were concerned about my physical condition due to weight loss and abnormal coughing. I was persuaded to visit a kindly local physician. After a short examination he sent me on to a specialist. This led to my being placed in a sanatorium. It took these events to awaken my thought and turn it Godward. The physician's statement I had only twelve months to live was another mental jolt.
