The Christ Awaits Us Every Wednesday

In Churches of Christ, Scientist, all over the world the Saviour, the healing Christ, awaits us at the Wednesday testimony meetings. A very important part of this meeting is the opportunity given for testimonies of gratitude for demonstrations of help and healing in Christian Science.

Knowing the power of sincere gratitude to God to focus spiritual light, Mrs. Eddy was led to provide Christian Scientists with these opportunities to publicly express their gratitude and bear witness to their healing experiences. These outpourings of praise and glory help those who testify to healing as well as each one who hears the testimonies that are given.

The Bible declares, "Ye are my witnesses, saith the Lord, that I am God." Isa. 43:12; Such a witness is one who can speak from firsthand experience and thereby testify to the truth of God's ever-present healing power.
