Keeping our spiritual lamps alight
The Affluence of Sharing
There are almost always occasions during a day for the Christian Scientist to share with others the good news—the revelation of Truth—that God and man are inseparable and eternally perfect. These occasions do not always announce themselves; sometimes they come unexpectedly.
Are we sharing spiritual truths with seekers of Truth? The followers of Christ have the biblical command to share the good tidings of Truth, Life, and Love and their blessings. They strive to demonstrate the virtues of humility, willingness, loyalty, wisdom, and compassion and to dispel the beliefs of rejection, inhibition, unneeded hesitancy, and the fear of being misunderstood. Peter, one of Christ Jesus' disciples, gives us this counsel: "As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God." I Pet. 4:10;

We can remember the words attributed to Paul, the apostolic Christian missionary: "Be not thou therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me his prisoner....I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day." II Tim. 1:8, 12;
