I was too small to appreciate my first proof of the healing power...
I was too small to appreciate my first proof of the healing power of Christian Science. My parents carried me on a pillow, as I was too frail and delicate to be handled. Several doctors told them I could not live. A co-worker of my father's recommended he have a Christian Science practitioner pray for me. The malady was healed.
Because I had been an only child, I wanted a large family. But after marriage I doctored unsuccessfully for two years that I might have children. My father reminded me that Christian Science had healed me in my early childhood and that I could turn to it. I sought the help of a practitioner and only one treatment was necessary. I now have a very loving son.
Several years later I was ill. After many treatments the doctor informed me there was nothing more he could do for me, suggesting I take a drug to alleviate the pain. I knew this could not be the answer and made an appointment with a Christian Science practitioner in another city. The healing was complete with just one visit.
