From Christian Science Committees on Publication

Frau Zurich, Switzerland

[Original in German]

In your magazine of 8th August 1975 appeared an article [entitled] "Healing by Natural Powers." It stated: "The third and smallest group of resident healers in Apqenzell does not in actual fact belong to the nature doctors. They are the so-called faith healers (absent treatment) who belong to the worldwide mental healers (especially widespread in England) and include as well Spiritualists and suggestion healers (Coue, K. O. Schmidt, New Thought Movement, and Christian Science)."

Christian Science cannot be included in this group of "mental healers," Spiritualists, and suggestion healers because it is based entirely and exclusively on the Bible and is Christian. Spiritual healing through Christian Science takes place in the same way as primitive Christian healing, not by willpower or mental suggestion but on the contrary through the subjugation of human will to the will of God, good. Thus the belief in disease is given up and the body as an expression of thought manifests the normal condition of health again.
