I am very thankful to have been a pupil in a Christian Science Sunday School...
I am very thankful to have been a pupil in a Christian Science Sunday School from seven to twenty, and I am grateful, too, that our children were early enrolled in a Christian Science Sunday School.
My husband had many instances of protection. While serving in a motor pool division of the United States Army in the Philippines in 1946, he was welding a gasoline tank. They had first taken precautions to clean the tank; however, when he started welding, it blew up. The men all came running, expecting the worst. Nothing had touched my husband but a few pieces of gravel. He was unhurt. I feel this protection resulted from my prayers and the prayers of others for the men serving in the armed forces and for our country.
By applying Christian Science I have had healings of a sore under my arm, a severe throat infection when a teen-ager, and burns from boiling water that was spilled down my chest when I was a child.
