Improved but Not Solved?
Is good always postponed? Do healings seem delayed? Are bank accounts never sufficient to meet the day's demand? Do problems never quite get solved? If one must answer some or all of these questions in the affirmative, he needs to look deeper into his concept of spiritual reality.
One of the claims of human life is that good things are often postponed to a future time and that frustration should be expected. Christian Science teaches that God is All, and that the allness of His goodness precludes the somethingness of discord or any form of evil. This truth shows the possibility of bringing all good into focus. As one begins to awake to this possibility through his awareness of the omnipotence and omnipresence of Spirit, he finds he can refute the lies of mortal mind that suggest the postponement of good.
Health, sufficiency, and completeness are not waiting somewhere down the road in time and space; they are right now, right here where we are. If a person cannot prove this, it is because of his deep conviction of the reality of matter and its limitations, and his tendency to look at good through the lens of materiality.
