God's Law of Unchanging Good

Christian Science teaches that good is ever present and unchanging because God is the source of all good and is unchanging. This fact is demonstrable because it is based on law—God's spiritual law of harmony. Incapable of being reversed or interrupted, this law is unerring. Doesn't the Bible say, "For I am the Lord, I change not"? Mai. 3:6;

Someone may say: This sounds great, but how can I make it practical when all around me I see evidences of discord, reversal, and lack? This statement of Mrs. Eddy's provides an answer: "Deductions from material hypotheses are not scientific. They differ from real Science because they are not based on the divine law." Science and Health, p. 273; Evidences of discord are based on material reasoning, not on divine law; therefore they are not scientific, not real. Mortal hypotheses do not offer any security, and even their promises of good are fleeting. The healing works of Christ Jesus, our Way-shower, indicate that he based his thought on spiritual law rather than on material hypotheses. He acted in direct opposition to so-called material laws and met every material evidence with the higher, spiritual law. Through the teachings of Christian Science we are encouraged to do likewise, because the same law Jesus utilized is here today and waiting to be applied.

Mrs. Eddy proved the presence of this law by healing moral and physical ailments and by establishing the Cause of Christian Science. As a result of her love for mankind and her dedication to the Principle of healing, we have today the demonstrable Science of God's law of good.
