The Man You Really Are

The Bible reveals that God, Spirit, created man in His own image and likeness. Because God is his creator, his Father-Mother, man is not material. He is spiritual and forever at one with the source of his eternal being. He never lives apart from God.

The real man's consciousness reflects the purity and intelligence of God, divine Mind. This true man knows only the undimmed light of infinite wisdom, that light of which the Bible says, "God is light, and in him is no darkness at all."^{I John 1:5;}

This light of divine intelligence is ever present. It pervades the universe. As God's ideas we are therefore, as Paul says, "the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness."^{I Thess. 5:5;} Our true purpose is to express the glory of our creator, and His glory is fadeless and eternal.
