Breaking the Bonds of Time
Time is a dimension of matter. It appears in a material sense of universe.
Christian Science assures us that man and the universe, as created by God, are actually spiritual and eternal. The Bible tells us that God is infinite Spirit, eternal Life and Love. Therefore His creation, the very outcome of His nature, must be without the limits of time or matter.
The implications of such a view are tremendous and endless. We begin to glimpse the basis of Christ Jesus' instantaneous healings. We see that what appeared to be the transformation of sickness, often of long duration, to immediate health was actually the appearing in a specific instance of God's perfect creation, always at hand. This perfection was obscured to the mentality that regarded the time-world as real but was always tangible and present to Jesus' thought, and this enabled him to bring to light man's enduring health and wholeness.
