A Fresh Way of Seeing
God, Spirit, is the one universal creator. The Bible teaches this. So does Christian Science. This Science of Christianity shows man is not a creator, matter is not a creator, evil is not a creator; divine Spirit alone creates.
The first quality ascribed to God in the Bible is creativity. The first five words of the Bible are, "In the beginning God created...." Gen. 1:1; The same opening chapter of the Bible records man as made in God's likeness. Man is never a creator, but he reflects the divine creativeness among his primal qualities.
Creative originality is often the essential quality needed to solve our daily problems. As we vigorously and persistently entertain this eternal fact that man reflects the infinite creativity of divine Spirit, we can expect to find ourselves and others expressing this needed newness of vision and action.
