NO WAY!

Pearl Strachan Hurd

Tired of it all?
Wanting out?
But into what?
No place where God is not
all power.

No one redundant.
Nobody He can spare.
The same truths everywhere.
Rules constant.
Each has to be
himself.

No homogenizing process
to wipe out the unique
identity of man.

Useless to contemplate
getting out of reach.
Who can?
