TESTIMONY MEETING

Stanley John York

"In that same hour"
he gave the full, sublime,
substantial evidence
of his healing way.
The blind went seeing,
the lame with feet made straight,
the unclean fully cleansed,
quite incontestable proof
for those who sought him out to see
the power of the Christ displayed.

In this brief hour
the fruits of our devoted prayer
are heaped upon Soul's altar.
The works again proclaim the source;
the spirit with the letter
speaking healing truth.
These humble mites—
the free outpouring
of our meek and faithful trust,
continue confirmation
of the quickening Word made flesh.
