Mere words cannot adequately express my gratitude for the many healings we have had in our family through the application of Christian Science. However, a fairly recent healing comes to thought which proved the power of Mind, God, to heal.

When I went for a dental checkup in a nearby town, the dentist was not pleased with the condition of my mouth. He recommended that I avail myself of a specialist in the care and treatment of gums. I felt I should be obedient and found myself confronted with a detailed analysis, accompanied with the prediction of necessary surgery and a few months of treatment.

A Christian Scientist was with me that day, and I felt her support in denying the fear that was handling me. Upon arriving home I called my daughter and told her the story. She, too, was vehement in her denial of this diagnosis and affirmed man's spiritual perfection. I then called the dentist and told him I did not wish to go ahead with the treatments he had outlined. He willingly refunded the amount I had paid in advance.
