Last winter, while my parents were out of the house, I suddenly became very sick to my stomach and had a fever. I was very fearful and had to stick closely to simple truths that had helped me before, such as "God is love" (I John 4:8), and that I, being God's reflection, could suffer no pain or fear.

From the time I started praying all my fear disappeared, and I was able to face the problem calmly. I listened to some records of Christian Science hymns sung to folk guitar, and in about an hour, when I went to bed, I was free from any discomfort or pain.

The next morning I awoke completely healed.
