Sadly the mourners eulogized their friend.
Dorcas' good works and deeds had been their aid.
But faithful giving, clothed to the very end
In selfless garments, needs no accolade.

Master-like, Peter spoke with healing tongue.
"Tabitha, arise," a familiar call, not strange.
Response to Life had long ago begun
In folds of Christly progress, not just change.
