Proving that Our Faith Brings Healing

A woman made her way through a crowd in order to touch the garment Jesus was wearing. Jesus said to her, "Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace, and be whole of thy plague."^{Mark 5:34;}

This woman had made an effort to get to Jesus, and her action was the result and expression of her faith. There was no healing power in the clothing the Saviour wore, but there was a beneficial effect to the woman from her faith in the ability of Jesus to demonstrate the Christ, the spiritual idea of a loving Father, God—the spiritual identity he knew and lived and showed to those ready to receive it.

The Scriptures tell us that Christ Jesus often spoke to people about their faith in the power and love of God. We, too, can have faith in God.
