My Favorite Bible Verse

"Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God." Matt. 5:9.

Many times this beatitude given by Christ Jesus has helped me, like when I argue about something with my brothers. My mom tells us to stop and that's when I start to think about this beatitude. But sometimes I think about it and try to stop the argument. Just to think about it makes me feel good.

One time I had two friends come over. We all wanted to jump on the trampoline at one time. I started to argue, but I didn't. I thought of being a peacemaker, and let my friends jump first. It makes me feel better because it lets me know that I am a child of God.
