Thirty-five years ago my first testimony
Thirty-five years ago my first testimony was sent to the Sentinel. Since that time the blessings have continued to flow and grow in our family's daily experience.
These Bible verses in Proverbs (3:5, 6), "Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths," have been exceptionally helpful in the finding of a satisfying place in the business world.
I recall visiting the Christian Science Reading Room one lunch hour and pondering these verses, also many statements from Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, like the one on page vii of the Preface: "To those leaning on the sustaining infinite, to-day is big with blessings." Then I said, "Father, show me the way. The work I have been doing has been loved, but blessings have not grown according to the need. I am ready to do it Your way now."
