Angels Go Camping

Do you ever take angels on your camping trips? Well, Becky did! And it was fun! However, before we hear more about Becky's camping angels, let's talk about what angels really are. Mrs. Eddy in Science and Health says that "angels" are "God's thoughts passing to man." Science and Health, p. 581; You can tell when these thoughts come by the love you feel.

Becky and her sister Jane are learning in the Christian Science Sunday School to invite angels into their thinking. In fact, last summer they decided to invite angels on their camping trip. Good thoughts from God go wherever you go.

Becky's family, which includes Dad, Mom, Becky, Jane, and her baby brother Pete, all got into the car and headed toward the north woods. After driving for three hours they arrived at the lake campgrounds, and while Mom and Dad set up the tent-camper and prepared dinner, the three children played in the woods. After dinner they all sat around the campfire and had a wonderful time roasting marshmallows.
