What a joy it is to be a Christian Scientist!
What a joy it is to be a Christian Scientist! I have so much to thank God for: excellent health, a strong and happy marriage, wonderful employment, a beautiful home. But these are all "things added," as the Bible tells us in Matthew (6:33): "Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you."
My greatest blessing is discovering, continually, the power of God and His infinite goodness. Through the teachings of Christian Science I have come to understand myself as the very child of God, full of grace, freedom, harmony, and bliss. And I have gained a satisfaction with life which goes beyond human rationalization.
When my mother was a teen-ager she had a healing which impelled her to study this religion, and later to raise her children as Christian Scientists.
