Rejoice!
Rejoicing is one of the weapons of Truth that help establish Christian healing. It prods us to spiritualize our thought and acknowledge the eternal, undeniable facts of being—perfect God and perfect man, and the universe maintained and governed by Soul. Spiritual sense frees us from false belief in mortal, material bondage. Rejoicing impels us to discontinue our contemplation of sorrow, illness, lack, or depression and to turn radically to God, good, the source of all being.
Rejoice now! In the face of pain or discord of any kind, we need to rejoice and give thanks to God that divine law annuls the suppositional law of sin, disease, or death.
Man is the idea of God—his identity is the reflection of the character and nature of God—and since God is All, there can be nothing unlike God that could be part of man's being. God, divine Principle, originates and maintains all law. God never created a law of suffering, for God is divine Love. God is the Father and Mother of all being, and He tenderly governs the entire universe, including man. His law establishes and maintains peace, harmony, health, purity, and holiness.
