Our Inseparability from God
Every evidence of human suffering is a lie about our relationship to God. It presupposes the separation of creator and creation, of divine Love and Love's perfect idea, man. It suggests that God permits evil, is helpless to prevent it, and that we are often unworthy of His love.
But Christian Science, revealing the allness of Deity and man as God's spotless image, silences these suggestions and removes their fraudulent evidence. Science proves that evil never gained entrance into true creation, that God never permitted it, and that man never experienced it.
We need to affirm continually our inseparability from God and know that this relationship is not a vague theory but practical truth. Our understanding of this truth heals discord, not because discord once reigned and was finally eliminated, but because it never really existed. Nothing unlike God ever penetrated His infinite, entirely good universe.
