Friends of Jesus
The Bible tells about some friends of Christ Jesus' who lived in a town called Bethany. There were two sisters, Mary and Martha, and their brother, Lazarus. Jesus loved these friends and sometimes visited them.
Mary liked to hear the spiritual things Jesus had to tell them, and she sat at his feet and listened. But Martha took care of serving the meal and was upset because Mary wouldn't help her.
Jesus saw that Martha was troubled, but he told her that Mary had chosen the better way and it wouldn't be taken away from her.
