I am deeply grateful for all the good, joy, and happiness the study of Christian Science gives me. And I would like to simply relate an instance which strengthened my faith in its healing power.

For several years I suffered from an unsightly facial infection. Medicine achieved a temporary improvement through the means of X rays, but the situation was critical. Finally Christian Science was presented to me. I asked the help of a Christian Science practitioner and began to study Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy.

The inflammation immediately began to diminish, but it did not disappear completely. At times it even became threatening again. I went through a very difficult period, my family insisting that I put myself under the care of some great specialist. In addition, our vacation, planned for a long time, seemed jeopardized. But I knew that I was on a path leading to healing, and that Christian Science is the Science of Christ, Truth. Admirably encouraged and supported by the practitioner, I learned to endure, without reacting, worried or ironic remarks and scrutinizing looks. Full of confidence in divine Love, I agreed to the vacation trip and left with my family. To my very great joy, at the end of eight days I was completely healed.
