God's care for me as His reflection was brought home to me in a very pronounced way.
In the early morning hours I was awakened by severe pain with accompanying chills. This was frightening to me, as the symptoms vividly recalled an illness some years before, which culminated in an operation to remove a kidney stone. This took place before I knew of Christian Science.
After some fearful thoughts there was a moment of hesitation whether to call a doctor or rely entirely on Christian Science. I chose Christian Science, realizing that here was an opportunity to demonstrate complete harmony, unity with God as His reflection.
