We read in the textbook, Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, on page 13: "Love is impartial and universal in its adaptation and bestowals. It is the open fount which cries, 'Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters.'" How grateful I am to God to understand today that no one is excluded from Love's protection!

I became acquainted with this teaching through a Christian Science lecture that was given here in Rosario. My whole family and I were evangelists. We always prayed in the way we had been taught, but we didn't know God in a demonstrable sense. The Bible says (Matt. 12:34): "Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh," and after fourteen years I am expressing gratitude for Christian Science and for the love that I have for Mrs. Eddy.

From the age of twelve I suffered from sciatica, and according to many doctors and specialists I had a carious bone in my leg, which was to have been operated on the same week the Christian Science lecture was given. After the lecture I was handed a copy of the lecture and of The Herald of Christian Science (Spanish Edition), in which Science and Health was mentioned. I bought the textbook as soon as possible and returned home full of hope. Immediately I began to peruse it and found something that helped me very much. I read page 162 many times where it says: "Christian Science brings to the body the sunlight of Truth, which invigorates and purifies. Christian Science acts as an alterative, neutralizing error with Truth. It changes the secretions, expels humors, dissolves tumors, relaxes rigid muscles, restores carious bones to soundness." I realized immediately that my thought greatly needed a change of base. I continued studying the book with ever-increasing interest and great love; and I was healed, completely healed. I can't say exactly when the healing occurred, but can say that I am a living witness to the fact that Christian Science heals.
