Many years ago my mother was healed in Christian Science...
Many years ago my mother was healed in Christian Science solely through reading the chapter on Prayer in the textbook, Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy.
One day when she was suffering extreme pain from a stomach ailment of long standing, she asked a neighbor, who we later learned was a Christian Science practitioner, for baking soda. Mother had taken this occasionally for relief. The soda was given to her and along with it a copy of Science and Health, with the recommendation that she might like to read the chapter on Prayer. The soda was never taken, and my mother, being an earnest student of the Bible, willingly commenced reading.
After completing the chapter on Prayer she fell asleep in her chair and awakened to find that all pain had vanished and she was completely and permanently healed of this condition. She enjoyed many years of good health thereafter. My mother's healing was my introduction to Christian Science.
