I Helped a Shy One
When I was in first grade there were two girls that were very shy. No one played with them. No one asked them to do anything. When my mother came to get me, I picked one of the shy girls to do my special job of helping the teacher by passing out the papers. When my mother was coming to lunch at school, I was allowed to choose several children. I chose one who had never been chosen before, to be my guest at lunch. I remembered what I learned in the Christian Science Sunday School about the good Samaritan. He helped the man no one else would help. I tried to do this too!
