I learned about Christian Science in a moment of extreme necessity. In fact, for two years I had been suffering with a serious form of neuropsychic disorder, with pains and disturbances throughout the body. The numerous doctors that I had consulted, the various hospitalizations, and the innumerable medicines were proved useless. My state worsened.

One day my husband decided once more to hospitalize me without my knowledge and against my will, since for some time I had lost all faith in medical science and in my heart nourished the desire for a sure divine help. At that moment of need, a friend of ours, whose wife was a Christian Scientist, spoke to my husband about Christian Science. I was not sent to the hospital. Instead, I immediately acquired Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, and I did not stop reading it for hours and hours. I knew and felt I had found the solution to all my problems.

Every day I gained new strength and health, and I was able to resume my normal life and to carry out my duties and tasks within the family.
