NO ROOM AT THE INN?

No room
amid hustle/bustle
comings/goings
at the end of day?
No time
amid meals/relaxations/rest
after the fatigues of a day's
toil/travel?
No room for the
Christ-idea?

Then
look for a quiet
humble place
(it will be near at hand)
and you will find
all space
all consciousness
is filled with God and His idea.

Then there will be
no turning away.
There will be angels' song
and the new-old idea
of man's spiritual being
can have each day
its sublime nativity!
