It is far past time that I express public gratitude for my understanding of God gained through the study of Christian Science. I grew up in an orthodox religion, but I never felt I had any real concept of God or of my relationship to Him. This understanding is coming into ever clearer focus through application of the teaching in Mrs. Eddy's writings.

My introduction to Christian Science came through a close relative when we were trying to establish a better home. I had sought to escape any formal religion, and when I, through her help, saw that I had to establish my sense of home spiritually, I committed myself to learning more of God. Through my own decision I enrolled in a Christian Science Sunday School. Two days later a lovely house was shown to us which we made our home! I enjoyed two years of Sunday School training, and Christian Science has been my way of life ever since. Deep faith in material medicine was quickly replaced by complete and satisfying confidence in God.

Perhaps my greatest gratitude is for marriage to a sincere student of Christian Science, and for the opportunity to firmly establish our family under God's control. There were many lessons for me to learn, and though my progress was slow, it always came through complete reliance on God.
