SPIRITUALIZING THOUGHT
through discovering the freedom of commitment to Truth
Freedom and commitment—are they compatible? Can we be dedicated and devoted to doing God's will and be really free?
Yes, we can! The master Christian showed us the way.
Jesus walked on the earth as a human being, but he lived and loved as the Christ. He said, "To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth." John 18:37; His unity with God, or Truth, made his holy commitment as Way-shower to men a mission of mercy and love, and assured its victory. He glorified God by expressing Him and by acknowledging the divine power and presence. He promised his followers, "Ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." 8:32; And he proved this in his own life.
