I am most grateful that my husband and I were from Christian Science homes. Together we brought up three children, relying completely on this religion.

Many years ago my uncle, who was healed of a serious stomach disorder, suggested we turn to Christian Science to help my sister, who was about a year old. The doctor in attendance said she had spinal meningitis or polio. She had been blind for two weeks, and one of her legs was drawn up. He said she could not live through the night. At this point my parents decided to contact a Christian Science practitioner, who began to pray immediately. The next morning there was great improvement in her condition. Christian Science treatment was continued, and in a short time she had a complete healing.

About six years ago I suffered from deep depression, much pain in my chest, and a feeling of suffocation. At night I could lie down for only a short period of time. Then I would sit up the rest of the night in pain.
