During the last four years I have experienced two healings through the study and application of the Christ, Truth, which were to me outstanding. Over the years I have been the recipient of many healings, some instantaneous, some quick, and some delayed, but I wish to share these two healings because they were the means of awaking me to the need to correct deep-seated dispositional faults such as resentment, self-will, impatience, and fear. Consecration and purification of thought were required on my part to finally realize the healings.

For many years I suffered severe abdominal pains. This would sometimes incapacitate me. In spite of all my prayerful metaphysical work about it, the condition became progressively worse.

When I called upon Christian Science practitioners for treatment, I always received immediate help, but I feared and experienced recurrence of the condition. For years I had declared there is no disease, and felt that I really understood this, but when this problem did not yield, and at times I could not even eat or digest food, I faltered in my efforts to deny disease reality.
