Learning—An Activity Derived from Mind
Schools and universities today demand more and more of pupils and students. But what if a student believes he cannot meet these demands—if he thinks of himself as deficient in mental ability, or as lazy, uninterested, absentminded? Christian Science shows one that by correcting his thinking he can overcome these human weaknesses.
Let's begin with that supposed lack of mental ability. Mrs. Eddy says, Mind alone possesses all faculties, perception, and comprehension." Science and Health, p. 488; Mind, not brain—the divine Mind, which is God!
The realization that learning is not just a complicated material process in a portion of the brain but rests on the reflection of Mind, Spirit, God, loosens human limitations of intelligence.
