My mother turned wholeheartedly to Christian Science in a time of great need when she was a young widow with six children.

I grew up from earliest boyhood in an atmosphere where each day began with a prayer of gratitude to God, the Giver of all good. [ too was learning to place reliance on Christian Science.

Following the visit to our home of a Christian Science practitioner, I was healed of a severe gastric complaint overnight while I was a young lad.
