Equipped with Power from God
The workman is equipped with tools, the artist with brushes, the accountant with pens, the housewife with cookbooks. But all this equipment would be useless without the intelligence and vitality with which to use it.
Spiritually endowed by Mind, God, we can face each day's demands with a joyous sense of spiritual power. The real man, the spiritual individuality of each one of us, is equipped by Mind for intelligent knowing, by divine Love for unselfish loving, by Life for vigorous living. This spiritual endowment doesn't cost a lot of money; it never wears out through overuse; it never becomes out-of-date. Ever at hand, it is inherent in the consciousness knowing God as All.
Christian Science shows real power to be spiritual because it is of divine Spirit. It is inherent in a simple knowledge and acceptance of these facts: Mind is the only power, and this force can be gained through a clear understanding of God. Any so-called power that can be used for, or results in, evil of any kind is a false sense of might.
