Who art thou, my son? (Gen. 27:18)
The Anchor Bible has, "Which one of my sons are you?" The identification was important, and Isaac was not easily convinced. Esau, as the older twin, would normally receive a double portion of the inheritance. But the father (according to what seems to have been the custom of this patriarchal society) could confer the status of firstborn on whichever son received his final blessing.
Thy name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel: for as a prince hast thou power with God and with men, and hast prevailed (Gen. 32:28)
