Not Afraid Anymore
Have you ever been afraid of something? So afraid you didn't want to walk to school? Well, I was just that afraid. I'm in the second grade, and I can walk to school by myself. Sometimes I ride my bike.
It isn't very far, only three blocks. But there is a big boy named Larry who would sometimes kick and hit me as we walked to school. Sometimes I ran home crying. Then Mama sat down with me, and we talked about some truths I've learned in the Christian Science Sunday School.
Mama remembered that in the textbook, Science and Health, Mary Baker Eddy says, "Love is the liberator." Science and Health, p. 225;
