My life has been blessed in every way by this beautiful and practical religion. I first heard of Christian Science through the television series entitled "How Christian Science Heals."

I had been a sickly person all my life and had been in and out of the hospital much of the time. I watched this television program for five months, until I was finally convinced that Christian Science was the truth I needed.

One day I went to Boston to find a Christian Science Reading Room. There I asked many questions, and the answers were satisfactory to me. The librarian showed me the chapter on Fruitage in the textbook, Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy. When I read the testimonies of healing in that chapter, I was further convinced that this was the religion I wanted. The librarian recommended that I borrow the textbook, which I did. When I returned the book, after studying it for two weeks, the librarian recommended that I visit the Reading Room in my own town and also the branch church. So I commenced attending the church services. Before this I had attended The Mother Church.
