New Views for Old
On a mountain trail every turn presents a vista that is different from all the rest. Walking along one of these trails, one can forget self and human trials and feel an ageless sense of the Life that is always fresh and new.
If we live consciously in God, the only real Life, we find that divine Life is more than nature can ever represent, although nature often hints in beautiful ways the infinite freshness of Life and its ideas. Life's new views are lovely and lovable because God is Love. They are awesomely harmonious because God is Principle. They are inspiring and exalting because God is the Soul of man.
The real man is Soul's idea, the representation of Principle, the reflection of Love, the expression of Life—the child of God. Insofar as we are able to identify ourselves with this real man, we can experience the newness of Life. But where we are not conscious of our true identity, we fail to recognize the vistas Life has for us.
