As a girl of sixteen, when Christian Science was introduced into our home by a friend, it was a privilege for me to attend Christian Science Sunday School, where devoted teachers answered many puzzling questions for me.

My husband's and my meeting was, we feel, evidence of God's guidance of our affairs, and our marriage has been a great blessing. Our four daughters were born in a maternity home for Christian Scientists, where much love and expert care were given us. In raising our family we have had healings of various so-called childhood diseases through complete reliance on God.

When one of the girls was in kindergarten, the teacher said the child was having difficulty in hearing. This condition was healed through prayer. Later, when this same girl was having difficulty with her schoolwork, the principal of the school said to my husband, "You can't have them all smart." We did not accept this implied mortal assessment of our daughter's intelligence, but knew instead that she was a reflection of the one Mind, expressing infinite intelligence. From then on her work in school improved. She is now a student in junior college and has been on the dean's list.
