Finding Employment
God is never out of work. He is engaged in upholding the perfection and order of man and the universe. This spiritual fact has practical consequences for us. As God's idea, man, we're never out of work; we're employed in being God's steady reflection. By identifying ourselves with God as His idea we gain a better sense of our actual occupation. And we can find the employment we may need. This is assured under God's law.
Though we may find it useful to consult advertisements or agencies, spiritual understanding shows us the way to employment that is higher and more rewarding than any human activity rewarded by wages or salary—though we can fairly expect it to direct us to the work we may need, too.
How can we find this right niche? By acknowledging the spiritual truth of man's place and denying the belief of misplacement, or of being unplaced. Because God is everywhere, we are, this moment, exactly where we ought to be—with God. Man has never been anywhere but in his right and his only place: in Mind, God.
