To Overcome Fear

Is there a way to overcome and vanquish the distressing emotion of fear and its threats of danger? Christian Science proves that there is.

What constitutes these threats? Briefly, any thought that does not come from God, divine Mind; every suggestion that there is intelligence or life in matter; all belief in a power apart from God.

The most subtle and deceptive of these suggestions are those that seem to be the products of our own thinking. But they are seldom exclusively our beliefs or our problems. They are always the fabrications of the carnal, or mortal, mind, seeming to mesmerize us into believing they originate in our thinking and belong to us. This is especially true of that paralyzing and devastating condition of mortal mind called fear.
