Trust God—No Matter What
Mary Jane loved horses. She lived in Australia, way out in the country, and had horses of her own. She enjoyed caring for them, learning to train and ride them.
It was wonderful that next door to Mary Jane's home lived a famous horsewoman who had a string of show horses. She taught the girl how to ride and how to handle horses expertly. She even taught her the fine art of taking part in riding competitions.
Being a student in a Christian Science Sunday School, Mary Jane had learned that when we express God's qualities in our work and in our play, we are expressing God. Through them we show God's nature to those around us, as Christ Jesus did. It is God's love we are expressing when we are thoughtful of others and of animals. His order and purity are brought out in calm control, in efficient organization—even in cleanliness!
