Proof of Identity
We are all children of God—but how do we know this?
The Bible says that God is our Father, that He is our Life; that God is Spirit, and that man is made in His image and likeness. Can we prove our identity as the likeness of Spirit, or must we accept what appears to be our identity as material beings?
Human progress seems to have taken us beyond the point where "the Bible says so" is a sufficient answer to a vital question. Yet when we study the Bible and how it was written, we gain respect for it. It records the thoughts of some people who were themselves able to identify with God as His children. And Christ Jesus implied how we would be able to identify ourselves thus eternally: "Whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die." John 11:26;
